Q: What are “stock” cabinets?
A: These are industry standard size cabinets. The width of
wall cabinets goes from 12" to 48" in 3" increments. The height
varies from 12" to 24" in 3" increments, and from 24" to 42" in 6"
increments
Q: What are custom cabinets?
A: These are designed and built by hand for your specific
requirements.
Q: What are natural stones and where can they be used in
the home?
A: Granite is a hard, non-flexible stone ideal for
countertops, walls, floors, fireplace surrounds, etcetera.
Marble is a softer non-flexible stone ideal for floors, vanity,
countertops or tub surrounds. It is not recommended for kitchen
countertop use other than areas designated as pastry/bread centers.
*Important Information: All natural stones are porous. Sealing is
essential and is done by the fabricator at the shop or as part of
the installation process. Cleaning products should be tested on the
stone before being used. All natural stones consist of different
elements that may be affected by the cleaning agent. Never use steel
wool, sandpaper, or other abrasives on natural stone.
Q: What is the countertop material referred to as Quartz
or Engineered stone?
A: These products consist of approximately 93% quartz and 7%
resins. It bridges the gap between nature and technology.
